Police identified the remains of Edward 'Buddy' Jackson, whose body was found stuffed in a barrel in a reservoir in 2022 with a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators believe he was killed roughly four decades ago, with the remains surfacing as reservoir water levels receded. The identification reopens a cold case investigation into his death, and authorities are now seeking information about the circumstances surrounding the decades-old killing.
