Tropical cyclone Champi was active in the Northwest Pacific from October 14-16, 2026, reaching maximum sustained winds of 241 km/h. GDACS issued a red alert, its highest level, estimating about 175,000 people in Guam affected by Category 1 (120 km/h) or higher wind speeds.
