Blizzard announced that the beta for World of Warcraft: Forever, a reworked version of its classic MMORPG, will be free to access during a stress test beginning October 19 at 2 PM PT, requiring no subscription or paid beta access. The test is intended to put the game's servers through their paces ahead of launch and runs until the beta ends October 21. Ahead of the test's conclusion, Blizzard also made major changes to racial abilities in WoW: Forever, which GameSpot reported significantly shifts which races are considered optimal for certain classes, unlike the more cosmetic racial perks in modern WoW.
