A Spanish arms company, General Dynamics European Land Systems-Santa Barbara Sistemas, has begun delivering infantry fighting vehicles fitted with Elbit-made Israeli turret systems to Latvia, which ordered 84 of the vehicles, Israeli business daily Globes reported. The deliveries proceed despite an arms embargo on Israel declared by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's government last year over the war in Gaza.
