After facing backlash, Meta has updated its commercial terms to remove language that appeared to allow the company to scrape content from news sites and other domains to train its artificial intelligence systems. The deleted language had stated that Meta could use any content from such domains and web pages to provide, develop, improve, research, train, and maintain its commercial products and services.
