Ukraine's Defense Forces said they struck a Russian 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar station near the settlement of Magri in Russia's Krasnodar Krai overnight on October 16, destroying a system the General Staff estimated was worth about 100 million dollars. Officials said striking such radar systems reduces Russia's ability to monitor airspace and detect aerial threats in time.
