Abhijeet Dipke, founder of India's Cockroach party, was detained under preventive arrest on October 17, 2026 ahead of a demonstration planned for Friday in New Delhi. According to Deutsche Welle, Dipke was scheduled to appear before a Special Executive Magistrate later that day.
