Lenovo's Legion Go S with SteamOS is a viable alternative to the $789 Steam Deck OLED, running identical software with several hardware advantages. The Legion Go S features a larger eight-inch IPS screen (1080p up to 120Hz versus the Deck OLED's 800p and 90Hz), double the RAM and storage at 32GB and 1TB respectively, two-stage triggers, and a marginally faster Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor. At $999.99 on discount at Best Buy, it merits consideration for consumers choosing between high-end handheld gaming devices.
