President Donald Trump endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for reelection on October 18, 2026, as Israel prepares for national elections scheduled for October 27. The elections mark the first nationwide vote since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel that sparked the ongoing conflict. Trump's endorsement signals continued U.S. support for Netanyahu amid the conflict and the Israeli government's military operations.
