A TIME magazine investigation, cited by the Jerusalem Post, found that successive Israeli governments privately urged Qatar to continue funding Gaza even while publicly criticizing the payments, and helped establish and preserve the Qatari assistance mechanism for Hamas-controlled Gaza for years.
