The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Cleveland Guardians 3-1 on October 18, 2026, taking a 3-2 lead in the ALCS and moving one win away from the World Series. The win capped a wild weekend in which Tampa Bay's core hitters, Junior Caminero, Yandy Diaz and Jonathan Aranda, combined for five RBIs in Saturday's series-tying 7-3 victory. The Rays' turnaround followed a stretch in which their top hitters had slumped, and the Game 5 win in Cleveland has put them on the verge of advancing to the World Series.
