An 18-year-old Minnesota teenager accused of plotting a terror attack at Mall of America will remain jailed pending trial, according to PBS NewsHour reporting on October 19, 2026. Authorities said the FBI thwarted the attack after monitoring the suspect for nearly two years and ultimately supplying him with an AK-47 he planned to use in the attack.
