Mississippi's attorney general determined that a Senatobia police officer was justified in using force when responding to a shoplifting call on October 19, 2026, according to PBS NewsHour. The officer fired at a moving vehicle investigators said was driving toward police, killing one-year-old Kohen Wiley who was in the car.
