Arturia announced the MiniFreak 49 on October 20, 2026, expanding its Freak line of digital synthesizers with a professional-grade model featuring 49 full-sized, semi-weighted keys instead of the original MiniFreak's 37 minikeys. The new model retains the core architecture of the current MiniFreak while adding professional interface improvements, positioning the company to serve musicians seeking full keyboard functionality within the Freak line's proudly experimental design philosophy.
