The US National Hurricane Center issued its final advisory on Post-Tropical Cyclone Trudy late on October 19, 2026, after the storm lost its tropical characteristics in the eastern Pacific. By 0300 UTC on October 20, Trudy's remnant low was located about 160 miles (260 km) west-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico, near 19.5N 108.0W, with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and minimum central pressure of 1005 mb. Forecasters said Trudy's deep convection had rapidly vanished over the preceding six to nine hours, leaving only a weak, poorly defined low-level circulation that no longer met criteria for a tropical cyclone advisory. The system was drifting slowly north at about 2 knots, and no further advisories are planned, with no reported impacts to land.
