British police said on October 20, 2026, that they had rearrested two men on suspicion of assisting Iranian intelligence as part of an investigation into activity at RAF Fairford, a base used by US B-1 bombers that struck Iran before being withdrawn after five British men were arrested outside the base on September 27.
