The Lebanese army on October 20 dismissed Israeli allegations that it failed to disarm Hezbollah south of the Litani River as required under the ceasefire agreement, accusing Israel of spreading misinformation. The IDF had released footage it said showed Hezbollah moving weapons that the Lebanese army was supposed to seize, after which the Israeli air force struck and destroyed the assets. Amid the dispute, Israeli and Lebanese delegations met at CENTCOM's Tampa headquarters, with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun confirming Lebanon's participation in the talks, while a Lebanese judge separately summoned two Hezbollah officials over a seized explosives shipment the group had admitted belonged to it.
