Israel was accepted as a partner of the Pacific Islands Forum, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced, offering climate adaptation and water management expertise as part of Israel's effort to strengthen Pacific ties, following Nauru's opening of an embassy in Jerusalem last month. Separately, Israeli President Isaac Herzog met Hungary's new Prime Minister Peter Magyar and President Baka in Budapest, in the first high-level bilateral meeting since the defeat of longtime Israel ally Viktor Orban, with Magyar pledging stable ties and a future visit to Israel. Morocco's prime minister also reaffirmed his country's push for a two-state solution and a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, underscoring Rabat's continued role under the Abraham Accords.
