An Australian politician, Haines, was targeted in a car ramming attack by a suspect who was reportedly a friend of the victim's family. An ABC News investigation revealed the suspect, Nugent, had previously shared pro-Gaza content and criticized Israel on social media, though it remains unclear whether this motivated the attack. The incident has raised concerns in Australia about the potential radicalization risks linked to online political content surrounding the Israel-Gaza conflict.
