Iran inaugurated three advanced laboratories for hands-on training in quantum optics and quantum information at universities in Tehran and Isfahan, Press TV and Tehran Times reported on October 21, with support from the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. Officials said the facilities place Iran among a small group of countries with such specialized quantum training infrastructure, part of broader efforts to advance domestic technological capacity.
