Eiliko, a cute AI robot charm that users can hang on their bags, was found to have severe security vulnerabilities exposing complete transcripts of user conversations to hackers, according to The Verge. The device promised users that "your secrets are safe with me," but the toy's insecure design allowed easy access to sensitive information beyond just transcripts. Eiliko's maker, Energize Lab, told The Verge it is hiring an independent security firm to address the issues after The Verge and security researcher Sammy Azdoufal spent over a month trying to contact the company.
