Insta360 announced a new Insta360 Mic offering a mid-tier option between its premium Mic Pro and budget Mic Air wireless systems, according to The Verge on October 22. The new mic includes color E Ink screens like the pricier Pro model but omits some features that content creators may not need. The Mic Pro, released in May, featured built-in color screens for custom branding and three microphones with different pickup patterns. The new offering provides creators more granular choices in the wireless microphone market, allowing those with moderate budgets to access the screen features previously available only at premium pricing.
