A serious PHP vulnerability discovered this week caused outages and other issues across multiple online games worldwide, including Final Fantasy 14 and Umamusume: Pretty Derby, as reported around October 22, 2026. With Final Fantasy 14's servers closed, surviving players reportedly began stepping in to help keep in-game systems, such as crops, maintained for others affected by the outage.
