The same data showed Marvel's Wolverine, despite a mixed critical reception, was September's top-selling new game and delivered Sony's best launch-month dollar sales since Helldivers 2, while NBA 2K27 overtook Resident Evil Requiem to become the best-selling game of 2026 so far in the US.
