An orphaned Pacific walrus calf weighing approximately 220 pounds was rescued from a remote northern Alaska beach where it was alone and threatened by scavengers. The 5-month-old male calf, named Annautaq, is now receiving round-the-clock care from SeaWorld Orlando's animal care and veterinary team, one of only four U.S. institutions equipped to provide such specialized care for the species.
