Federal authorities in California have targeted immigrants seeking U.S. citizenship in a voter fraud crackdown this week, according to PBS NewsHour. Most of those targeted had applied for citizenship and now face charges related to lying on forms or during interviews, charges that could result in years in prison and derail their efforts to naturalize.
