Ukraine's armed forces carried out what commanders describe as the first known aerial drone rescues of wounded soldiers from the front line, including 49-year-old Kostiantyn Vlasenko, evacuated from the Kharkiv region, and a soldier known as Magura, airlifted aboard a Heavy Shot Ayudag-6 drone after 491 days in the grey zone and losing both feet. The evacuations mark a new battlefield medical capability after no evacuation vehicle had been able to reach some wounded soldiers for over a year, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
