Thomas Markle Sr., the 82-year-old father of Meghan Markle, denied allegations that he had sex with a child, as London's Metropolitan Police confirmed forwarding a letter about him to Meghan. He told the Daily Mail on Saturday, October 24, that he has never had sex with anyone under 18 and will do whatever it takes to clear his name. His son Thomas Markle Jr. told The Sun he found child sexual abuse material at their father's former home in the Philippines and said his father remains in denial. Scotland Yard said it did not share the claims with other law enforcement jurisdictions. Multiple outlets, including Hello! and The Sun, reported that Meghan wrote her father a letter in 2025 while he was hospitalized, and a friend told The Sun she is devastated. SNL U.K.'s Weekend Update also joked about the allegations.
