UN inquiry finds Israel committed crimes against humanity and genocide in Gaza

A UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry said on October 26 that Israel committed crimes against humanity in the West Bank and continued committing genocide in Gaza after the October 2025 truce. The report, which examined violations against Palestinian children since October 2023, also alleged torture and rape by Israeli forces in the West Bank. Israel rejected it as a misinformation campaign and an effort to demonize and delegitimize it, and its Foreign Ministry accused the report of legitimizing jihad.
