Germany is preparing to buy an initial batch of Ukrainian-made Bars jet-powered cruise missiles from a joint Ukrainian-German company, the Financial Times reported. An agreement is expected within weeks, and Germany could order several hundred if technical tests succeed. The purchase is intended to bolster European deterrence against Russia.
