The Night Song sculpture in Muncie, Indiana, shows a young Native American man playing a flute to court the woman he loves, Atlas Obscura reported. Sculptor Joe Beeler created the seven-foot statue, which sits on a rock base and was dedicated on December 9, 1998. Beeler said the young man, from the Southern Plains, played the flute as a means of courting, and a bas-relief on the base adds to the scene.
