Epic Games boss Tim Sweeney doubled down over the weekend on criticism of Valve, calling Steam's AI content disclosure a political act. Separately, some Steam users could not log in on October 26, 2026, and Steam's Personal Calendar left beta. Valve also added CD-ROM support to the Steam Frame kernel within minutes of a request.
