Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian travelled to Moscow on October 27, 2026 to attend a Gas Exporting Countries Forum summit and hold talks with Russian officials. IRNA reported that he met Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani there to discuss expanding bilateral relations and energy cooperation. Press TV said the visit would cover energy and regional order. The sources give no outcomes from the talks.
