Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority said all vessels belonging to South Korean shipping company Sinokor would face legal action starting November 1. The body was set up by Tehran to manage passage requests through the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran has restricted transit through the strait and attacked shipping there since US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran on February 28, seeking leverage over Washington. The announcement adds a new penalty for one company's vessels.
