Three British parliamentarians were detained by Israel while trying to access the occupied West Bank, Middle East Eye reported. Labour MP Clive Lewis, SNP MP Lara Bird and Scottish Greens MSP Kate Nevens were denied access while travelling with a Progressive International delegation. Israel had closed off the occupied territory ahead of the elections, and the delegation was turned back on that basis.
