Apple introduced M6 chips in its MacBook Pro and iMac lineup on October 27, 2026, ahead of its Pro and Tell event. The new 14-inch MacBook Pro offers up to 24 hours of battery life and adds Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support. The iMac starts at $1,499 and keeps a largely unchanged design, with the performance gain coming from the same chipset used in the Mac Mini launched in August.
