An IT specialist from Chelyabinsk signed a Russian Defense Ministry contract that promised him service in the drone forces, but he was instead sent to a so-called meat grinder regiment. He was sent on an assault and went missing, his wife told the independent investigative outlet iStories, as reported by Meduza. His wife believes his commanders stole his money. The report gives no official response from the Defense Ministry.
