Zelensky said Ukrainian forces wiped out more than 100 Russian troops and captured over 30 during Operation Veles, an underground advance of more than 15 kilometers near Kupiansk. Military leaders briefed him that Ukraine has adapted Russian underground tactics for the operation. Ukrainska Pravda reported that the Khartiia Corps carried out the operation. The figures are Zelensky's and have not been independently verified.
