The French Senate is set to vote on a bill that would require rioters to pay for damage caused during recent nationwide unrest, known as the casseurs-payeurs bill. The draft law includes an add-on that would let the government block social media platforms judged too slow to act on authorities' reports of dangerous content, FRANCE 24 reported.
