Laredo Palace in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, is a richly decorated Neo-Mudéjar brick building completed in 1886, Atlas Obscura reported. It was created by Manuel José Laredo, who was the city's mayor as well as a painter, decorator and restorer, and it blends Neo-Mudéjar, Neo-Gothic and Modernist elements. Atlas Obscura noted that the official architect was Juan José de Urquijo, and the building stands out to visitors walking from the train station toward the historic centre.
