Marry Mubaiwa, the former wife of Zimbabwe's vice-president, was freed after the attempted murder case against her collapsed, BBC World reported on Tuesday. She had been held on remand for seven years after being charged in 2019 with the attempted murder of her then husband. The report did not give details on why the case collapsed.
