Israeli aircraft flew at low altitude and dropped thermal balloons over southern Lebanon, Lebanon's National News Agency reported on Wednesday. The Lebanese army has warned that the balloons contain explosive and incendiary materials and are prone to exploding, telling residents not to approach or touch them. The reports did not specify casualties or the purpose of the balloons, and no Israeli statement on the activity was cited.
