Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel has an "unprecedented and unique opportunity" to eliminate what he called the existential threat from Iran, according to Middle East Eye. He made the remark in a campaign speech while Israel's election results were still being counted. The remarks came as Netanyahu sought to frame the vote around security, with his bloc leading the early count. The statement is political rhetoric rather than a reported military action, and it did not specify any operational steps.
