The Israeli military said it killed three militants in Gaza, including Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, a Nukhba operative in Hamas's military wing. The IDF said Baraka took part in the October 7 kidnapping of Alexander Dancyg at Kibbutz Nir Oz and later helped hold Nimrod Cohen hostage; he was killed in southern Gaza. The IDF said two other Nukhba operatives were killed on Friday in northern Gaza. The strikes add to the ongoing fighting in Gaza more than two years after the October 7, 2023 attack.
