Russian defence-linked companies are beginning to embed production inside China, acquire Chinese intellectual property and use Chinese equipment to sustain manufacturing at home. Voice of America reported the findings of Washington-based research organisation Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS). The findings point to deepening defence ties between Moscow and Beijing, though the report did not give figures on the scale of the activity.
