Reuters reported on Thursday that Iran used a network of more than 5,000 military agencies to import at least $2 billion in equipment, explosives and heavy-duty trucks since January 2025. The network reportedly bypassed Western sanctions and the US naval blockade. The findings come from the Reuters investigation as relayed by Iran International, and no separate confirmation of the procurement chain was reported.
