Thrive Holdings, the OpenAI-backed firm led by Joshua Kushner, is acquiring home security company ADT in an all-cash deal that would take ADT private. The Verge reported the deal is valued at $7.6 billion and expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, while TechCrunch reported a $15.3 billion value. The companies plan to bring AI to ADT's home security business.
