The Hague-based Global Rights Compliance (GRC) published an investigation, reported by Kyiv Post, finding a Russian recruitment network places North Korean workers in factories supporting Moscow's war against Ukraine. Investigators documented coercive conditions, North Korean officials' involvement and diversion of workers' earnings to Pyongyang. The findings say the arrangement circumvents UN sanctions through student visas.
