A planned micro-drama will use AI-assisted technology to edit old episodes of the Australian soap Neighbours to focus on Margot Robbie's character. BBC World reported the project on 29 October 2026. Actors and crew have expressed concern about the edit, with one comparison describing it as like cutting up a Picasso. The report did not give a launch date or details of how the edits will be distributed.
