A ship in the Strait of Hormuz was reported on fire off Oman on Thursday, as Iran said it had shot down another US drone. Deutsche Welle reported the fire, citing a British maritime agency, and said Iran's claim came amid continuing military tensions with Washington. The report did not say what caused the fire, whether the crew were harmed, or whether the ship was struck. It also gave no details of the downed drone or of any response from the United States.
